Affiliates Speak Out in Latest AffStat Report

Earlier this week the 2011 Affiliate Summit AffStat Report, comprising the responses of over fourteen-hundred affiliates regarding their methods and strategies, was released – complete with candid remarks that cover everything from affiliate manager critiques, commission and payment methods, future mobile and video options to the simplified mention, “I love affiliate marketing.”

The survey asked affiliates to provide a range of information pertaining to the affiliate marketing industry, social media, search, and email marketing, blogging and even their demographics.

Affiliates who participated in this survey range in age from 18 to 61 and older, some of whom have affiliate careers spanning more than a decade.

The information provided by the results of the AffStat Report offers valuable insight for industry professionals including participating businesses, affiliate networks, advertisers, and even other affiliates.

The 2011 Affiliate Summit AffStat Report presents affiliates’ feedback through various pie graph charts that provide some insight into the minds of affiliates – some answers may even surprise you.

For instance, affiliate networks interested in expanding their affiliate base may want to know where affiliates go in order to find the best program to join. After consulting the AffStat survey results, networks can see that the top two ways affiliates will most often opt to find new affiliate programs is through affiliate directories and search engines.
